[LA] Only few weeks away from HARD Summer Music Festival Here's the most the most updated info:

HARD SUMMER
-->

SUMMER is all about vacations, parties with friends, and nights with your favorite bands.

All these come together at the SUMMER STAGE, one of four performance areas at the HARD Summer Music Festival. The Summer Stage combines acts from the national HARD Summer Tour and a few artists exclusive for Los Angeles...

DIGITALISM LIVE • Hailing from Hamburg, Germany, Isi and Jens met at the city's Underground Solution record store. Bonding over great rock and electronic albums, the duo began DJing and producing together, locking themselves in a bleak cement bunker they use as their studio. It's been four years since their debut album Idealism established Germany as the paramount of innovation; their new record I Love You, Dude with dual singles "2 Hearts" and "Blitz" breaks the band out of any and all confines. They're among the rarest breed of music makers (think David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Crystal Castles, or heroes The Cure); Digitalism are a transcendent live band who play timeless songs that make the boys and girls rock out, sing along, and still dance non-stop.

JACK BEATS • Jack Beats are a multiple award winning DJ duo made up of Niall Dailly (DJ Plus One of Scratch Perverts fame) and Beni G (of The Mixologists). They have had an immediate and profound effect on the club scene since teaming up in 2007; producing transcendent remixes for La Roux, Passion Pit and Florence & The Machine amongst others and releasing their genre bending U.F.O EP on HervĂ©'s Cheap Thrills Records. With a debut album under wraps until early 2012 and a history of decimating sets at HARD festivals, fans who see them on the HARD Summer Tour are in for the greatest nights of 2011.

CARTE BLANCHE • When HARD presented RITON and DJ MEHDI's Hollywood debut as CARTE BLANCHE last spring, it was four decks, one mixer, a TR 909, and no bangers, strictly house music. Now with global tours under their belt and two EPs, Black Billionaires and White Man On The Moon, we seriously have no idea what their new live show will be, aside from awesome. DJ MEHDI has been foraying into all things black music since 1995, with two albums on Ed Banger, tours with Justice and A-Trak, and remixes for the likes of Santigold and Busta Rhymes. RITON is Newcastle's finest, a resident with RADIO SOULWAX, remixer for LCD Soundsystem and Crookers, and the man behind the Eine Kleine Nacht Musik project on Modular Records.

BUSY PICTIONARY • Ed Banger Records head honcho Busy P has teamed up with famed designer and illustrator So-Me to create Busy Pictionary. "This is something I've wanted to do for a long time," Busy P says of the performance. "I bring So-Me on stage with me and we plug in his computer while I'm DJing so he can react live to the music I play and what the crowd does. He'll be drawing, photographing, interacting with the party and probably making fun of me a lot. I love to interact with the crowd; it's completely different each night."

KARLSSON & WINNBERG • Swedish producers Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg formed Miike Snow with American songwriter Andrew Wyatt in 2007. While many recognize the duo by their production nicknames Bloodshy & Avant (Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Britney Spears "Toxic", etc.) their reputation as festival DJs is fast growing from their magnificent sets at shows such as HARD's Turkey Soup in NYC.

GESAFFELSTEIN • Electronic artist, France... Uses techno and electro idioms as tools designed to create a distinctive, closed aural universe. Transforms and appropriates those musical lexicons to write epics and atmospherics that reach beyond dancefloor expectations or illustrative goals. Envisions his work as system of closely related pieces, and not just as a bunch of good tracks.

ACID JACKS • Acid Jacks is the creative juggernaut of Melbourne Australia based artist Antonio Celestino. An outspoken purveyor of cutting edge dance music, Acid Jacks bangs out material on NYC's Trouble & Bass Recordings, runs his own Idiot House Records, DJs internationally and collaborates with super producers like Boy 8-Bit, Goose, Drop The Lime, & more.
