Kid Sister: Kid Sister has some chops. Growing up on the wrong side of the tracks in Chicago she started rapping in 2005 alongside her brother, Josh, who happens to be one half of Flosstradaumus. She exploded onto the popular conscience when none other than Kanye West appeared on her debut single ‘Pro Nails’. Her debut album released in 2009 featured collaborations with Rusko, Count and Sinden and the UK’s Estelle, as well as the Swedish House Mafia. Her career rise may have been meteoric, but her onstage mouth is fast enough to justify the hype.
Mr. White: Mr. White is no stranger to the stage at Avalon. Chris White, aka Mr. White, is not only a DJ, but also a producer and one of the co-founders of CONTROL. Calling him a triple-threat would be an understatement! Mr. White is taking over the Southern California electronic dance scene with his banging electro and house beats. He’s remixed artists such as Deadmau5 and La Roux, and he’s just released his first original EP, which is climbing the Beatport electro house charts. It’s always a fun party when Mr. White spins!
